Artist Biography
Susan Underwood has lived most of her life on the west coast, growing up in Vancouver, raising her son on Saltspring Island and teaching on Saltspring, in Campbell River and Victoria. Since retiring, she spends time in Cecelia Press Studio where she devotes most of her energy to printmaking. She loves the diversity of printmaking with its range of techniques and media from aquatints to linocuts and monoprints. Drawing and painting are also part of her creative practice. Susan participates in various local shows including Sooke Fine Arts show and the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria Small Works shows. She is a member of PRINT and Saltspring Printmakers.
