First Saturday Open Studios

I am a life-long artist born in Vancouver. My current work explores the disconnected layers of modern life by weaving vertical strips of various landscape elements with horizontal strips of Venetian blinds which activate the viewer. I also ‘paint’ with my iPad, and in more traditional formats. I was Artist in Residence at UBC Botanical Garden in 2012-2014 and created a solo exhibit for UBC’s Beaty Biodiversity Museum in 2014. Most recently, I have been experimenting with the limits of woven and interlocking patterns.
