Mark's textile work is an abstract composition of geometric forms with translucent fabrics. Overlapping layers around a wood framework, result in new colors and opacity. The interplay of light and texture gives the piece a delicate and ethereal quality. As much sculpture as painting. Mark has a background in architecture and woodworking, in addition to fine art.
