Biography

As far back as she can remember, to her early childhood days in Manitoba, Arlene had a passion for drawing. When she moved to Vancouver and began her studies at the Vancouver School of Art (now Emily Carr School of Art & Design), she discovered she also had a passion for painting, and has painted ever since. Arlene has lived in East Vancouver, participating in many art events, for over 30 years. She was a member of Avenue for the Arts for many years and had her studio on the East Vancouver Culture Crawl.
