First Saturday Open Studios

I live in East Vancouver and love my vibrant multicultural neighbourhood. My inspiration comes from wilderness walks, childhood memories, research and reading.

I work with oils in my studio, using photos and sketches as reference. Memory work often starts with a photo collage embellished with acrylic and finished with wax. I also like to work en plein air with water colour and oils.

I was born in India and left that country as a small child. Recently I returned to explore the country of my birth and my travels there inspired many paintings.
