Natalie is originally from Quebec and moved to Vancouver in 1989 to pursue a career in education. In early 2000, she and her partner collaborated on many projects. Chris drew and Natalie would add water colours to their projects. At the time, they painted their favourite buildings and houses to offer those as gifts to friends and family. Now that Natalie has retired from the Vancouver School District, she has more time to paint. The new phase in her life has opened up many options. Natalie is now exploring photo transfer on wood panels, mixed media and abstract using acrylic paint. She is inspired by her former student work, nature and more recently, the synthetic cubism movement. Natalie is constantly learning, taking risks and loves discussing her process.
