I'm an artist who loves exploring various painting techniques. My current work includes portraits, plein-air, figure painting, and recreations of 18th and 19th-century impressionist pieces that have deeply influenced me. I mainly use oils and oil pastels, but I also occasionally experiment with watercolors and acrylics.
I enjoy painting on both wood panels and canvas, finding that each brings its own unique feel to my artwork. For me, the process of painting is more captivating than the final result. It's a way for me to process different life experiences, which subtly show up in my paintings. While my style might appear very controlled, I eagerly embrace the unexpected. I often utilize larger, worn-out brushes and rough pastel pieces to introduce randomness into my work and experiment with mixing colors directly on my paintings to welcome unplanned vividness.
